We visited the Canary Islands in early February, and the weather was quite comfortable for summer clothing, we even went swimming!
What surprised me about the Canary Islands?
Why does everyone only go to Tenerife? I recommend visiting the island of Lanzarote — it’s way cooler, in my opinion. It seems like people don’t know about it, but I will recommend it, tell everyone — Please, go to Lanzarote!
I divided these two islands into two separate articles to avoid confusion, so please review them. I put a lot of effort into them!

For a simple understanding of the difference, that’s Lanzarote.
And this is Tenerife
More about difference
Tenerife is better suited for beach vacations, it’s warmer there, especially in the south of the island. If you’re traveling with kids and seeking beaches, leisurely walks, and cocktails, Tenerife is the place for you.
Lanzarote, on the other hand, is more suitable for active travelers looking for excitement, adventure, beautiful scenery, and breathtaking landscapes — you’ll find plenty of them there! Local flights operate from two airports in Tenerife to Lanzarote, with a round-trip flight costing around 250 euros for two people (prices as of early 2024).
So, I think you’re ready to delve deeper into both islands separately and decide which one suits you best. But most likely, it will be both islands! :)
